As per the new pathway guidelines, all the selected applicants are given residence in Malta, which will lead to Maltese Citizenship by Naturalization in either of two ways:

• Contribution to NDF –
  • Contribute EUR 750,000 (INR 6.75 Crore) and get Malta Citizenship after 1 Year, OR
  • Contribute EUR 600,000 (INR 5.40 Crore) and get Malta Citizenship after 3 Years

Other Contributions:

• Contribution for Each Dependent – EUR 50,000 (INR 45 Lac)
• Donation to NGO – EUR 10,000 (INR 9 Lac)
• Residential property Requirement:
• The threshold of Purchasing a Property – EUR 700,000 (INR 6.5 Crore), OR
• The threshold of Renting a Property – EUR 16,000 (INR 15 Lac)
• Due diligence fees – EUR 15,000 (INR 14 Lac) for Main Applicant and EUR 10,000 (INR 9 Lac) for Dependents
• Residence Application Fee – EUR 5,000 (INR 4.5 Lac) for Main Applicant and EUR 1,000 (INR 90,000) for Dependents

Other eligibility requirements:

• Applicant must be above 18 years
• Must have a clean criminal record
• Have a Global Health Insurance that will cover the entire family

Dependents to be included under the Malta Citizenship by Investment application:

• Spouse or partner having the same or similar status
• Child of the Main Applicant or the spouse under the age of 18 years
• An unmarried and economically dependent child of the Main Applicant or spouse who is below 29 years old
• An adopted child below 18 years old or qualified as a person with a disability
• Financially dependent parent or grandparent of the Main Applicant or Spouse above 55 years age
